MAPULU KAMAYURA

Mapulu Kamayurá is a shaman and female leader of the Kamayurá village located in the confluence of the Kuluene and Kuliseu Rivers, near Lake Ipavu. She is considered one of the main shamans in the Upper Xingu, especially because she had been trained through the teachings of the grand shaman Tacumã Kamayurá.
